Ash Under Fingernails

A dueling poetry reading featuring Ben Brindise & Justin Karcher revisiting their 2018 book, Those Who Favor Fire, Those Who Pray To Fire. What happens when two healthier people read their self-destructive poems from five years ago? Does it hurt? Is it cathartic? Will the old ghosts be conjured back to life as if art is a kind of Ouija board? Will the fire burn as bright after it's been gone for so long?
